Spidertrax Minimum Advertised Price Policy
Spidertrax has determined that its interests are best served through the adoption of a minimum advertised price (MAP) policy. This MAP policy is for the benefit of all our Resellers and Wholesalers so that Spidertrax products are not devalued in the marketplace. Spidertrax actively encourages and supports the advertising and promotion of our products but also respects our Resellers and Wholesalers advertising programs. The enforcement of the MAP policy makes it so participants in our Reseller and Wholesale programs can compete equally on the basis of the value added services that they provide to their clients for our products.
• The MAP value is equal to Spidertrax's "Base Price". Base Price is also referred to as retail price.
• This MAP policy applies only to advertised prices. Spidertrax does not implement or enforce any policy that determines the re-sale price of our product. Resellers and wholesalers are free to sell Spidertrax Off-road products at any price and terms it deems appropriate.
• The MAP policy applies to all advertisements of Spidertrax products and includes but is not limited to websites, magazines, catalogs, mass promotional e-mails, newspapers, flyers, radio, television and any other type of electronic or print media. This policy does not apply to any in-store advertising or in store pricing.
• Pricing listed on an internet site is considered an advertised price and must follow the MAP policy. Once the pricing is associated with intent to purchase (add to cart), the price becomes the selling price and is not bound by this MAP policy.
• Advertising statements such as "we will match any price", "call for price" and "add to cart to see price" are acceptable.
• Spidertrax may choose to offer special promotions or pricing on certain products. In such an event, we reserve the right to modify or suspend this MAP policy in whole or in part.
• Authorized Spidertrax Resellers and Wholesalers shall be considered in violation of this MAP policy if they advertise prices for Spidertrax products that are below retail price.
• Intentional and/or repeated failure to abide by this MAP policy may result in loss of Authorized Reseller or Wholesaler status from Spidertrax.
