CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

Job Summary:  
Manufacture Spidertrax products using CNC milling & turning centers. Read prints and inspect parts using basic measuring instruments as part of quality control. Perform basic maintenance of CNC machines and shop equipment. Handle material using a fork lift and pallet jack.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read work orders.
  • Read Tool lists
  • Read and understand prints.
  • Perform basic mathematics
  • Use CNC machine control to set offsets, load programs, and make simple edits.
  • Load and remove parts from CNC machine efficiently.
  • Use basic measuring instruments to inspect parts.
  • Handle material, including unloading delivery trucks using a forklift.
  • Maintain machines and coolant sumps.
  • Sweep, mop, and clean shop.
  • Clean and shut down machines.
Minimum Requirements: 
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimal CNC or manual machining experience. Spidertrax can provide training.
  • Proficiency with mathematics , including fractions and decimals.
  • Ambitious and energetic personality.
  • Good team player.
Compensation:
  • Salary Range: $13.00-$15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • One week of paid time off per year in addition to 7 paid holidays.
