5. Torque Specs

Listed below are recommended torque values for varied Spider 9 components. Please keep in mind these values are provided as guideline only. Remember to always use good mechanical judgment when following torque specifications.

Unit Bearing to Knuckle (M14x1.5) = 132 ft-lb
Unit Bearing to End Cup (M14x1.5) = 132 ft-lb

Steering Arm to Ultimate Knuckle (1/2-20) = 68 ft-lb

Ultimate Knuckle Shoulder Bolts (3/4-16 Type C Nut) = 183 ft-lb

Third Member nylock nuts on ARP Press-In Studs (3/8-24) = 35 ft-lb

GT Rotor Bolts to Brake Hat (1/4-20) = 155 in-lb

Blue Aluminum Stub Shaft Cap Bolt (1/2-20) = 95 ft-lb (Use Red Thread locker)

Ultimate Unit Bearing spindle nut = 250 ft-lb

Pro Series Unit Bearing spindle nut = 250 ft-lb
