Buzz & Reviews > Chromoly Links

"The chromoly links that you guys make are exactly what I have come to expect from Spidertrax – the best parts on the market. I abuse them in both racing and crawling and never once consider lifting to prevent damage to them. In fact, I regularly use them as skids and rotation points. They take jarring blows and ledges that have mangled the steel on the chassis and come through without a scratch (literally). Looking back on the lifespan of mild steel or aluminum links makes me never want to go back. I would suggest them to anybody."

"I look at the new innovations that Spidertrax has come up with in just the past few years, and I'm proud to be a part of their team that gets to test their prototypes. When I spoke with Tom a couple of years back and told him of the lower links that I was destroying, he came up with a plan for a new Chromoly lower link that was lighter and stronger then anything I had ever used. I ran the first set of links for over two years beating on them rock-racing and in my spare time rock-crawling, and I never once bent or damaged them. I demand alot out of my equipment that is why I run the Chromoly links on both the top and bottom of my new IFS rock racer. The Spidertrax Chromoly link is the best you can get so why consider anything else."

"We were just going over the buggy to assess any damage. I am so incredibly impressed with the control arms you have made, I just felt the urge to call and tell you what a great idea you have come up with! They have no sign of damage in any way. Our previous lower control arms were 8 lbs a piece heavier, 7/16" wall thickness and we had to straighten them after almost every event."
