Ultimate Spider 9 Bolt Kit

With the emergence of new racing sports like the XRRA and King of the Hammers, taking extra care in ensuring fasteners stay tight is no longer a luxury but a vital necessity. The Spidertrax Ultimate Spider 9 Bolt Kit is the end all solution in ensuring your 9" third member hardware stays tight and keeps your gears where they belong, happily inside your Spider 9 housing.

We start with only the best racing bolts in the market, American made, grade 9 equivalent, 12 point ARP fasteners. Using the included American made threat locker, eight of these ARP fasteners (four per housing) are installed from from the back side of the Spider 9 face plate allowing them to act as studs for superior holding tension and streamlined third member assembly. These ARP fasteners are tightened down with the included "pinch style" 12 point ARP nuts.

The remaining twelve ARP bolts (six per housing) included in the kit are all double drilled for safety wire. Using the safety wire tool and 1/32" safety wire included with this kit, the bottom three and top three ARP bolts are safety wired together following the aerospace standard for fastener tension security.

Each kit comes with enough ARP hardware for TWO Spider 9 housings, 1 lb spool of 1/32" safety wire, a safety wire tool, and two packages of thread locker. ARP Spider 9 bolts, safety wire tool, and spool of safety wire are all sold separately. There is a substantial savings when purchasing this kit complete so it is best to buy this kit if you do not yet have the safety wire tool or safety wire.
